Wool prices are soaring (21/9/11)

Wool prices have hit a 25-year high, says the brithish wool marketing board, affecting the prices of wool carpets. Wool prices last year were double those in 2009, which were double those in 2008.Rising global demand, particularly in Asia, has accompanied falling wool production with declining sheep flocks.
