Fishing nets to carpets

16 March 2013
Interface and the zoological society of London conservation charity are collaborating in Net-works, a project to tackle the enviromental problem of discarding fishing nets in the world's poorest coastal communities. Most nylon in fishing nets is the same used for carpet yarn. The aim is to collect 20 tonnes of nets by the end of April, generating funds for communities where family incomes are under £100 a month.
