Coir Matting Shortage (19/11/10)
19 November 2010
Due to problems with the supply line in India the UK is now faced with a national shortage of coir matting. In addition to this the price of coir has risen by almost 50% in some cases. Remland carpets have managed to source a good supply of the popular matting and Managing Director Trevor Ballard reports..."Our current stock levels will see us through to the new year when we hope availability will improve. Having sourced competitively we are also pleased to confirm that we will be able to maintain our current prices whilst others are facing a significant price rise."
