Big rise in carpet waste not being sent to landfill! (14/02/2011)

Over the past year, UK based carpet manufacturing members of CRUK managed to divert 2,760 of the 5,197 tonnes of carpet from land fill sites across the UK to be recycled. A 53%diversion rate which is outstanding compared the 2009 effort of just 6%.
