Flotex Tibor Reich "Mosaic" - Forbo has teamed up with British design legend Tibor on an exciting new range for Flotex flocked flooring. Pioneering textile designer Tibor Reich – creator of Tibor - was a man ahead of his time. Although his striking patterns date from the 1950s, they could have been designed yesterday. The cutting-edge technology of Flotex digital printed flooring gives a new lease of life to Tibor's arresting patterns and enables exceptional floor designs. Tibor often incorporated richly-textured ‘fancy yarns’ into his weaves to create tactile effects. For this pattern Tibor photographed a sheer fabric made from slub yarn. The uniformity of the grid contrasts pleasingly with the randomness of the loops.

Taking Care of your Flotex
CleaningWhen vacuuming, set the brush adjustment to the lowest setting, push forward at normal speed and pull back at half speed. This gives the brush time to sweep out any fluff etc that may have been pushed between the fibres.
Wet CleaningFlotex benefits from the occasional wet clean. This can be carried out with a machine such as Vax or hot-water extraction machine. The detergent supplied with these machines is suitable for use on Flotex. However, it should only be used in a very weak solution. Mopping or wiping is not recommended as this only cleans the tips of the pile.
