"Arctic is inspired by the changing landscape of the Arctic region. Organic lines cutting through icy rock, cold water flowing down frozen mountains and glacial river rapids inspire the movement in the design. The colour palette consists of 12 colours inspired by the natural elements of the Arctic – ice blues and cool greys amongst soft subtle warms, with marine-like green tones to further enhance the collection".

Maintenance
Carpet tiles are easy to keep clean - An effective vacuum cleaning programme is essential for the success of any carpet tile maintenance plan. Grit and dirt if not vacuumed thoroughly can become an abradant that could damage fibres, if left in the carpet to build up. In addition to removing soil vacuum cleaning also enhances the appearance of the product by lifting and restoring the pile. The use of proper equipment and techniques are critical to the success of any vacuum cleaning programme and heavy duty upright vacuums with a brushing action are recommended.
Sustainability
Yarn is the single biggest source of carbon in a carpet tile so in 2021 Burmatex committed to making all new products from low carbon yarn. By working with our partners, and through advances in material science, we now have a range of low carbon yarns, including the worlds first carbon negative yarn, which we use to reduce the amount of carbon in our products. Arctic tiles are made using Universal Fibers® ground-breaking Thrive® matter yarn, the world’s first carbon negative recycled yarn, and our unique BioBase® recycled backing, arctic® is carbon neutral
