Manufactured from highest grade MDF, the 16.50mm Scotia is strong and easy to cut to size and mitre. Each authentic looking (2.40m long) curved scotia measures 16.50mm (t) x 16.50mm (w) and is perfect to cover the expansion gap between your new flooring and the existing skirting boards.

Our scotia is easy to keep clean, just wipe it over using a damp (not wet) cloth and it comes up like new.
Installing our Premium Scotia Beading is a straightforward process for those with some minor DIY experience and very basic tools. We recommend using safety goggles and gloves when doing this.
In addition to being safe to cut and use, MDF is also very sustainable and environmentally friendly. Because MDF is constructed primarily from wood fibre, many wood shavings and other portions of the wood that might normally be discarded can instead be recycled into MDF production.
